Ariane

Chrome and Edge extension that shows a live English transcript of a tab's audio together with its French translation. Audio is captured from the tab or the microphone, split into 80 ms frames by an AudioWorklet, converted to 16 bit PCM and streamed to the Gradium speech recognition API over WebSocket. A second stream provides the translation, and a dubbing mode plays a French voice while lowering the original audio. The extension can also translate a selection or a whole page through Claude, the browser's built in translator or Google, while keeping fill in the blank fields intact. Pure modules are covered by Node tests and an end to end test runs against a fake Gradium server.
