Workdays

Calculator of on-the-job days for work-study students and interns in France. The user sets a start date and a target number of days, picks a preset or manual school and work rhythm, and the tool computes the schedule day by day, accounting for leave, absences and French public holidays, Easter included. A free-text box lets users describe their schedule in plain language: an API route sends it to an OpenAI model with function calling to get a structured proposal, and a local heuristic parser takes over when no key is set or the call fails. The schedule state is encoded in the URL for sharing, and the calculation logic is covered by Vitest tests.
